Isopods

Isopods are small crustaceans that play an essential role in ecosystems around the world. These creatures, which include both terrestrial and aquatic species, contribute significantly to the health, balance, and sustainability of their habitats. From nutrient cycling to soil aeration, isopods perform a variety of ecological functions that support biodiversity and ecosystem resilience.

Adding isopods to a terrarium can be a fantastic way to create a self-sustaining ecosystem, improve substrate health, and add fascinating little creatures to observe.

Springtails

These tiny invertebrates are incredible animals and are considered the smallest pets you can have. They provide natural soil cleaning activities, improve nutrition for plants, and protect terrariums from harmful disease-causing organisms.

Spiders

Jumping spiders make great pets because they are small, low-maintenance, intelligent, and interactive, offering a unique and engaging experience for both beginners and experienced pet owners.

Bees

Bees are crucial to our world due to their role as pollinators, contributing significantly to the reproduction of flowering plants and the formation of fruits and seeds. Without the bees they coevolved with, many plants would struggle to reproduce. This would trigger a dramatic decline in plant biodiversity that would affect entire ecosystems and human agriculture.
