At Bugs N Blooms, we take extra care when preparing every order to make sure your plants, bugs, and supplies arrive safely and ready for their new home.

 

Ordering

Orders can be placed directly through our website. Once your order is received, we carefully select, inspect, and prepare each item before it is packaged for shipping.

Because we work with live plants and live insects, some items may have special shipping requirements depending on weather and seasonal conditions.

Please make sure your shipping address is correct before completing your order.

 

Shipping Live Plants & Bugs

We package all live items with care to help protect them during transit. Depending on the season and weather conditions, we may adjust our shipping schedule to help ensure the safety of your order.

Extreme temperatures can be dangerous for live plants and insects. If weather conditions are unsafe, we may delay shipping until conditions improve. We will do our best to keep you informed of any weather-related delays.

Live orders are generally shipped Monday–Wednesday to help prevent packages from sitting in transit over the weekend.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive tracking information so you can follow your package.

 

When Your Order Arrives

Please open and inspect your package as soon as it arrives. Live plants and insects should be unpacked promptly and placed in their appropriate environment.

If there is a problem with your live order, please contact us as soon as possible and include clear photos of the item and packaging. This helps us determine the best way to assist you.

 

Shipping Delays

Once a package has been handed over to the carrier, shipping times may be affected by weather, carrier delays, holidays, or other circumstances outside of our control.

We carefully package every order, but we cannot guarantee carrier delivery times.

 

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the items in your order, package size, weight, and shipping destination.

Because Bugs N Blooms ships live plants and live insects, some orders may require special packaging or shipping methods to help protect them during transit. These additional costs may be reflected in the shipping charge.

 

Live Plant & Bug Orders

• Live orders may have additional packaging requirements.

• Orders may be combined when possible to help reduce shipping costs.

• During extreme hot or cold weather, shipping may be delayed to help protect your live items.

• Expedited shipping may be recommended or required for certain live items.
